6.20pm: Chip counts
Here's a few chip counts: Petar Zografov (315,000), Ted Stolzenbach (220,000), Michal Misterek (170,000), Dennis Schaefer (180,000), Desislav Velikov (80,000), Tobias Schwecht (145,000) and Nagy Barnabas (170,000).
Tournament staff have just broken another table, there are just 34 players left, 27 of whom will get paid.
6.10pm: Misterek makes mincement of Michalakis
Polish player Michał Misterek is flying high, up to 170,000 after eliminating Michalakis Irakleous. The former raised to 6,000 on the button with pocket eights, Irakleous moved in for 21,000 with [Ac][4h] and the pair held up.
5.55pm: Swede near the lead
Daniel Karlson from Sweden is up to 260,000 and is second in chips only to Petar Zografov who has 315,000.
The Swede got his latest boost with the best hand in hold'em - pocket aces. There was a raise to 4,200 from Marko Mikovic, Karlson then raised to 6,400 from the small blind, Mikovic moved in for around 40,000 with pocket queens and Karlson obviously called.
The board was a dry [10s][8c][2d][7h][8d] and the aces held up.
5.45pm: The ups and downs of Michael Alnahas
Michael 'Action' Alnahas came over to tell me: 'My tournament is like a rollercoaster, it's up and down," as if to prove the point he recounted three hands to me, one where he doubled up, one where he doubled up an opponent and finally a hand where he stacked an opponent.
In the first he raised to 4,100, there was a call and, Tobias Wenker then raised to 10,000, Alnahas moved all-in for around 40,000 with [Jh][7h] and Wenker called with ace-queen. The flop came jack high with two hearts, Alnahas turned a third jack and just for good measure he rivered a flush. After that hand Wenker slips to 60,000.
In the second he doubled up Matej Marinovic, the Croatian PokerStars sponsored player three-bet all-in with [A][10] and it held against Alnahas's [K][Q].
And in the third and final hand that he told me about he stacked a guy with pocket queens against pocket jacks, Alnahas flopped a third queen and rivered a fourth to make quads, he's now up to 105,000.
5.30pm: Breaking tables
Just prior to the end of the last level tournament staff paused the clock so they could break a table. There are just 41 players left in meaning five tables remain in action. We need just 14 more eliminations to burst the money bubble here in Bulgaria.
Some of those who have fallen just short include: Vage Pogosyan, Catalin Corocaescu and Daniel Vanos.

5.15pm: Snow good for Medesan
Everyone's expectation in this tournament just went up a notch as Alain Medesan has just been sent to the rail. The Romanian got his last 11,000 in with pocket eights but the snowmen couldn't hold against Dimitar Yosifov's [Js][10d] as the board came [3d][6d][8s][7h][Jh].
5.05pm: King Zog
For much of Day1A you couldn't separate Petar Zografov and Ted Stolzenbach and the former has now followed in Stolzenbach's footsteps by becoming the second player to break the 200,000 chip barrier.
The Bulgarian is up to 250,000 after finding pocket kings and getting it in against Andrei Goryachko who had pocket queens. The board ran [3d][6d][8s][7h][Jh] and Zografov is up to 250,000 and will be very dangerous from this point in.
4.55pm: Bust outs
Both Predrag Kecojevic and Liszkovics Joco are amongst the latest batch of bust outs. Just 51 players remain and the average stack is 72,400.
4.40pm: Popov picks off bluff
I joined the action to see a complete board of [7s][As][Kh][2s][8c] there was approximately 24,000 in the pot and a bet of 13,000 in front of Tobias Schwecht. The decision was on Slaven Popov and he was tanking hard. He counted out the call from his stack, interestingly he used his smaller denomination chips to do so, comprising his bet solely of 100 and 500 denomination chips, did this mean he wasn't confident that he would win the hand?
After about two minutes of thought he pushed the chips over the betting line, it was Schwecht to show first, he revealed [Qc][Jc], Popov rolled over [Ad][8c] for a rivered two pair.
4.20pm: Chipleaders
Here's the big stacks as we go into level 12, it's still Ted Stolzenbach who leads from Petar Zografov.

4.15pm: Back from the break
Players are now back in their seats and play is underway once more.

That's two levels down so players are now on a 15 minute break.
4pm: Exits
We're down to 63 players as Agris Klaise, Bogdan Mocanu, Calin Furdui, Kai Kassebaum and Stefanos Kollias are all out.
3.50pm: Parlafes parlays his stack
In a blind on blind battle, Daniy Parlafes just got a much needed double up. He shoved for his last 16,000 from the small blind with [Ah][8d] and Desislav Velikov gave him a spin with [Qh][Jd]. A nondescript board of [7h][10s][7s][5s][Ks] kept him in front. It's a mere scratch for Velikov who still has around 100,000.
3.35pm: Stolzenbach king of the castle
Overnight chip leader Ted Stolzenbach has had a good opening 90 minutes as he's built his stack up to 190,000 and is still in the lead. He's got a couple of players at his table who could put a serious dent in his stack though. There's Desislav Velikov who has 115,000 and Dennis Schaefer who has 110,000. If two of those three clash in a big pot we could have a huge chipleader.
3.20pm: Double up for Marinovic
Matej Marinovic has doubled through Oren Alarav, he did it the hard way though as his ace-queen was dominated by Alarav's ace-king. But, a queen on the river kept him alive and boosted his stack to just over 50,000, which means he's now back to average stack.
3.10pm: 68 left
A total of 18 players were eliminated during the opening level of play amongst the fallers were: Ben Wolbers, Johannes Bernardus, Dan Hila, Magardich Sarkisian and Anton Peev

3pm: Valentino versus Zografov
At the start of play Petar Zografov was second in chips, whislt Valentino Konakchiev was third in chips, a quirk of the seat draw meant they were just two seats apart with the latter having position. I just saw the two of them clash in a pot.
From under-the-gun Zografov raised to 2,200, Konakchiev three-bet to 5,300 and Zografov made the call. The flop fell [5s][8c][jc] and Zografov check-called a bet of 4,500. The [3s] hit the turn, Konakchiev fired again - 12,200 this time - and after a long dwell Zografov released his hand.
Despite coming off second best in that hand Zografov has 101,000 whilst Konakchiev has had a bad first level as he's slipped to 65,000.
2.45pm: Tough table
When looking at the today's table draw (full draw here) it was table four that immediately jumped out at me. It contains two of the top five chip stacks in Petar Zografov (113,800) and Valentino Konakchiev (107,600). And if that wasn't enough the dangerous Alain Medesan (35,500) and Simeon Todorov (10,500) are also lurking there too.
2.30pm: Pedrag puts a dent in Pogosyan
All-in and calls all over the place at the moment, here's a recent example...
Vage Pogosyan raised to 2,200 from under-the-gun, it passed to Predrag Kecojevic who moved all-in for 18,300. It folded back round to Pogosyan who took an age before calling for around half of his stack, on their backs:

The board ran out [7h][7c][10s][7s][8d] to ensure a double up for Kecojevic.
2.15pm: Exits and a double up
Plenty of early exits, Amar Begovic, Adrian Bizineche, Neil Raine, Ivan Ivanov, Thomas Streltunas and Ognian Ivanov are all out.
But, it's not all doom and gloom Michael Alnahas has doubled up to 45,000. He told me: 'A guy min-raised with ace-king I shoved with pocket sixes, the flop was [5][7][8] and the turn a [9] to make my straight.
2pm: Day two is go
Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Eureka Poker Tour main event here at the Grand International Hotel and Casino in Golden Sands near Varna.
A total of 86 players from the 246 starters progressed to Day 2 but by the end of play today just nine will remain. Of the 86 who've made it this far, 27 will be paid with the 27th place finisher claiming € 2,000. The winner of Eureka Bulgaria meanwhile will trouser €61,170.
Leading the charge for the top prize, as things stand, is Ted Stolzenbach from Amsterdam, he was the Day 1A chipleader with 136,800.
