9.40pm: Break
That's the end of level eight, you'll find level nine updates in a new post shortly.

9.30pm: More bust outs
The last few players to exit Eureka Prague are: Simeon Naydenov, Jonatan Hellman, Daniel Rozich, Georgios Kapalas, Heppu Simola, Tadas Rimdzius, Viktor Kovachev, George-Cristian Malancu, Jonas Gutteck and Corneliu Cretu.

9.20pm: Boeree is bust
As I was about to enter the tournament room I saw Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree walking towards me, this was not a good sign.

Indeed it meant that she had just busted the tournament: "I got up to 27,000," she told me. "Then ran queens into kings for a 20,000 pot. I scratched around with 7,000 for a bit then it folded to me and I shoved [K][Q] for 12 big blinds and ran into [A][J]."

9.10pm: Pole dancing
Two Polish players just went to war, getting it all-in pre-flop. The effective stack belonged to Adrian Piasecki he was all-in for 9,225 with pocket jacks and in good shape against Tomasz Pawel Gluszko's [Ac][Jc].

The board came [10h][9c][7d][5d][7c] and Piasecki doubled through his countryman.

8.55pm: State of play
As players enter the eighth level of the day over half the field has been eliminated as just 210 of 428 players remain. That means the average stack is 30,600. One player who late registered (and I've only just spotted) is Matt Frankland, he's on 13,000 at the moment.

LEVEL UP: BLINDS 300-600 ante 75

8.45pm: Chip counts
Team PokerStars Pros Liv Boeree and Marcin Horecki are both in need of a boost as they're both below starting stack with 14,300 and 13,000 respectively. UK pro James Keys has just more than double that with 30,000, one table over Rhys Jones, with 29,000 has just a few big blinds less. And Steven van Zadelhoff - who is now to the direct left of Boeree - has 33,000.

The current chip leader appears to be Rafi Elharar, he's got 102,000 whilst Mauro Pomponi's stack of 80,000 puts him up there with the chip leaders.

8.35pm: Final numbers confirmed
Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention. I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying exciting news story. I need all of you, to stop what you're doing and listen...

The final number of runners for Day 1B of Eureka Prague is...(drumroll)...428. Add the 222 from Day 1A and that's a total field of 650!

Thanks for listening

8.20pm: Monster pot for Gkampranis
Alexandros Gkampranis has just vaulted into the chip lead after winning a huge three-way pot.

I only caught the action live at the point all the money went in, the board was [10h][7d][7c][9h] and three players were all-in, Gkampranis, who had 35,700 behind had the other two covered.

Gkampranis: [9s][7s] - a turned full house
Iustin Cojocaru: [Jd][8h] - a turned straight
Niclas Martinsson: [As][10c] - top pair top kicker, with a re-draw to a bigger full house

The [5c] river was a blank, Gkampranis did a little fist-pump, he barely had Cojocaru covered, whilst Martinsson was short. He was still stacking his new found chips (it was going to take him a while) but his stack must be somewhere around the 90,000 mark.

8.05pm: No dice
The winner of Eureka Prague will not hail from Ghana(!) as Andres Iglesias has been eliminated. As have, Vincenzo Teti, Raphael Dubost and Georgios Tzimas.

8pm: Late registration has closed
If you wanted to buy into Eureka Prague then you're too late. I'll get confirmation of the total number of runners as soon as I can, but it'll be on or around 425.

7.45pm: Back from the break
Cards are back in the air and play is underway. This is level seven of the scheduled 10 that will be played today.

Daniel and Barry were (virtually) delighted that cards were back in the air

LEVEL UP: BLINDS 200-400 ante 50

6.45pm: Dinner break
The players are now on a one hour dinner break. Play will recommence at 7.45pm local time.

6.40pm: One in one out
I've spotted Steven van Zadelhoff in the field, the Dutchman have taken to twitter earlier today to ask how long late registration was open for, it seems he's taken advantage of that and it's so far been a profitable decision as he's up to 22,000.

However, Dean Lyall's tournament has come to an end: "Ace-King into aces and jacks against Ace-King," he told me, big slick accounting for another tournament life.

6.25pm: Exits
A total of 137 players have bought in and busted out of Eureka Prague so far on Day 1B as just 270 of 407 remain. Amongst the latest batch of exits were: Matej Marinovic, Ana-Maria Cosma, Idan Greenberg, Padraig O'Neill and Nicolas Lemaitre.

6.10pm: Misterek is out
Coming into this event Michal Misterek was top of the Eureka Poker Tour Season 2 leaderboard, but the Polish player is out here in Prague. He was short and ran pocket fives into pocket aces according to a Polish blogger who passed on the details to me.

With second placed Petar Zografov seemingly not playing this event, it opens the door for Alija Filipovic and Nagy Barnabas who are both still in. If either should make the money they would leapfrog Misterek at the top of the leaderboard.

5.55pm: Chip counts
Serial satellite qualifier Fergal Nealon is off to a grand start, the Irishman has climbed to 24,000 although that's only just ahead of the average which stands at 22,600.

Team PokerStars Pro Toni Judet is up to 20,000, Denis Kelemen has 18,000, Guillaume Darcourt is down to 13,000 and Nagy Barnabas - who sits fourth on the Eureka Leaderboad, has 8,000.

LEVEL UP: BLINDS 150-300 ante 25

5.40pm: Exits
The bust outs are really picking up here as the stack to blind ratio diminishes. Last I checked 292 of 402 remained. Among those who've busted are: Sergey V. Baranov, Michael Tureniec, Milan Šimko, Jason Gray, Bharathan Balasubramanian, Liam O Donoghue and Tomáš Junek.

5.25pm: Palovic and Macdonald bounce back
It hadn't been the best of starts for Team PokerStars Pro Dag Palovic, but his recovery continues. "12,250 in Level 5,"he tweeted a short time ago, that's up from the 9,200 he had at the start of level four.

And Sam Macdonald, runner-up at Eureka Latvia, is on the up. "Back to the dizzy heights of starting stack after nearly 5 hours," he had been as low as 8,500.

Meanwhile, Milan Rakic has 18,000, Team PokerStars Pro Toni Judet has just been moved to the same table, three seats to the left of the Eureka Bulgaria season one runner-up.

5.10pm: Flopping well
Rhys 'Flopinhel' Jones is up to 31,400 the British youngster is sharing the table with a famous Czech poker player, although he may not know it. Tomas Junek, is the first Czech player to win a WSOP bracelet. He won Event #56 a $1,500 NLHE event at this year's WSOP, banking $661,022 in the process. He's down to 14,000 here though, slightly below his starting stack.

4.55pm: Risk ruined
Nick Abou Risk, has two UKIPT titles to his name, the first UKIPT he entered was Edinburgh in August 2010 and he won it. Today was his first Eureka event, but sadly for him he won't be repeating the trick. He just tweeted: "Just busted #Eureka with AJ v 77 on A73cc9hhJh. Turn call was prob bad, prob river too... GL y'all."

Nice to see that sometime poker players can admit they made a mistake and didn't just get unlucky.

4.45pm: Back to the felt
The players have squeezed and cajoled their way back into the packed tournament room here in Prague. Currently 391 players have taken their seats today, up from the 225 who started Level 1. And there's still two more levels and the dinner break to get into this tournament. A player who is on his way to do just that is EPT7 Prague champion Roberto Romanello.

One player who's already settling in is Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree, she told me: "I'm up to 16,000. No interesting hands, but I was as low as 6,000 at one point."

Cards are back in the air.
