Season 5 of the Eureka Poker Tour kicks-off in Rozvadov on February 21, and with new satellites and qualifiers now up and running you could win a Main Event seat worth €1,100 for as little as €1.10.
What's more you'll also receive a trip to a venue that grows in popularity each time it hosts a PokerStars event. Whether it's the fabulous card room, or even just the tenderness of the steak (more on that later), you don't need to hang around a well-travelled European poker player for long to hear stories of the King's Casino. A look at the schedule shows it to be a festival with something for everyone.
In addition to the €500,000 guaranteed Main Event, there will be a schedule of 21 tournaments, including the €100,000 guaranteed Eureka 100 Grand Challenge, a snip at €220 to play. They'll also be a €2,200 High Roller event, as well as the €330 buy-in Rozvadov Cup.
Just as the venue itself is unique, the main event will also be something of a first.
While it will feature two opening days they will not run consecutively. Instead, while day 1a takes place on the opening day of the festival (Saturday February 21) Day 1b will follow on Thursday February 26.
In between that you'll be able to take part in the Eureka 100 Grand Challenge, which boasts four starting days. You'll also be able to qualify for that event online in the coming days.
The Main Event has a one or two other tweaks. As well as the starting stack increasing on the Season 4 amount of 20,000 to 25,000, the clock for days 1a and 1b will be 45 minutes, increasing to 60 minutes from day 2 onwards. There will also be a third opening day, although day 1c will be a little different.
Starting at 10pm on Thursday February 26, Day 1c will be a Turbo flight, using a 20 minute clock and is open exclusively to players who have busted on days 1a or 1b, making it a non-traditional re-entry tournament, so to speak. For the disappointed, or unlucky, it's the perfect life line for a shot at what will be big money at stake.
Other events, run on more traditional formats, include a €500 pot-limit Omaha tournament, a locals championship and the Eureka Queens Cup, a women only event with a buy-in of €50, details of which can be found on the Eureka homepage, along with details of the entire festival, which should be even more popular than the two previous times the tour has visited the Kings Casino.
